torch.tan

torch.tan(input, *, out=None) → Tensor

Returns a new tensor with the tangent of the elements of input.

outi=tan(inputi)\text{out}_{i} = \tan(\text{input}_{i})
Parameters

input (Tensor) – the input tensor.

Keyword Arguments

out (Tensor, optional) – the output tensor.

Example:

>>> a = torch.randn(4)
>>> a
tensor([-1.2027, -1.7687,  0.4412, -1.3856])
>>> torch.tan(a)
tensor([-2.5930,  4.9859,  0.4722, -5.3366])
