numpy.ma.sum(self, axis=None, dtype=None, out=None, keepdims=<class 'numpy._globals._NoValue'>) = <numpy.ma.core._frommethod object>

Return the sum of the array elements over the given axis.

Masked elements are set to 0 internally.
