aix_inittab - Manages the inittab on AIX
New in version 2.3.
Synopsis
- Manages the inittab on AIX.
Requirements
The below requirements are needed on the host that executes this module.
- itertools
Parameters

| command required | What command has to run. | |
| insertafter | After which inittabline should the new entry inserted. | |
| name required | Name of the inittab entry. aliases: service | |
| runlevel required | Runlevel of the entry. | |

| Whether the entry should be present or absent in the inittab file. |
Notes
Note
- The changes are persistent across reboots, you need root rights to read or adjust the inittab with the
lsitab, chitab,mkitaborrmitabcommands. - Tested on AIX 7.1.
