pandas.Index.argsort

Index.argsort(*args, **kwargs) [source]

Return the integer indicies that would sort the index.

Parameters:

*args

Passed to numpy.ndarray.argsort.

**kwargs

Passed to numpy.ndarray.argsort.

Returns:

numpy.ndarray

Integer indicies that would sort the index if used as an indexer.
