HTMLAnchorElement.protocol

The HTMLAnchorElement.protocol property is a USVString representing the protocol scheme of the URL, including the final ':'.

Syntax

// Getter
string = anchor.protocol;
// Setter
anchor.protocol = string;

Examples

// An <a id="myAnchor" href="https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/HTMLAnchorElement"> element is in the document
